P&G Closes Plant in Egypt

Site makes detergent, diapers and other products.

Consumer products maker Procter & Gamble Co. has closed its two plants and a general office in Egypt because of the political turmoil there. Spokeswoman Robyn Schroeder says in Cincinnati that the company closed general offices in Cairo last Wednesday, telling employees to work from home, then closed the plants just outside Cairo on Friday.
